KUBU is a Malta-based architectural and structural
engineering practice founded by two warranted Periti
specialising in structural design. We operate at the
critical intersection of architecture and engineering,
transforming conceptual designs into structurally sound,
buildable realities.
We build our practice on the principle that technical
precision and creative design complement each other and
achieve their most significant potential when developed in
tandem. This integrated approach eliminates the traditional
divide between architectural vision and structural
implementation.

Stephan is a founding Director of KUBU and a warranted Perit Engineer specialising in structural engineering. His experience with various architectural and engineering firms in Malta has informed his practical approach to design challenges. At KUBU, he focuses on planning solutions and architectural model-making.

Structural Engineer and Director
As a founding Director of KUBU, Mireille is a warranted Perit Engineer specialising in structural engineering. She focuses on structural analysis and detailed technical documentation. Mireille manages client relationships and oversees site inspections to ensure construction quality meets design specifications.
Our technical expertise enables us to resolve complex
structural challenges while maintaining design integrity.
This capability proves particularly valuable when working
with existing buildings, heritage structures and sites with
significant constraints.
